How far are you looking to take your sound?

Electronics that are "power challenged" sound thin or flat at frequency extremes and don't have the oomph to follow the peaks and large dynamic swings in the music. This is particularly noticeable when driving some of the more difficult headphones.

Do I need the SUPPLIER?
It's an upgrade, so that really depends if you're looking for the absolute best sound to come from your Cute Headphone Amps or Dac. If you're an Audiophile then the answer is probably yes because you know that having a source of clean and regulated power is essential to experiencing great sound. You might however be satisfied with the standard auto-switching PSU that your Firestone component is built with because it's designed to be a stand alone component or it can be taken to a whole other extreme.
That is one of the greatest features about your Firestone Audio components; they are miniature and modular while being unique in design. Your individual component is going to make you very happy but you also have the ability to pick and choose between other components such as the SUPPLIER to give your component that extra power to experience its full potential.

The SUPPLIER upgrade
It is a cleaner and higher powered unit. With a 500mA output for the SUPPLIER and a 200mA for your component's PSU, you're getting a huge 2.5 times more output! What this gives you, is the reserve power that you need to follow the dynamic swings and crescendos in the music you're listening to, that your component's PSU might not be able to follow. This is a brand new version of the SUPPLIER that was recently redesigned and equipped with the capacity for an even cleaner and more consistent power!
