Big Joe has been upgraded with an enormous heat sink so that the internal temperatures are always kept low. You also don't need a preamp because it is equipped with its own volume control but should you want one, Big Joe is also equipped with an internal shunt control. It reverses the BJ's volume control and lets you use a preamp if that's what you prefer.
